The factory was founded on 29th November 2021 and moved to Zhongshan in 2022. In 2025, we launched the Philips Smart Lock Global Super Factory in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, the brand marks a major milestone in advancing Industry 4.0-driven smart manufacturing.
The factory boasts an annual production capacity exceeding 5 million units, with future scalability to over 10 million. It houses four specialized workshops—die-casting, lock mortises, electronics, and assembly—and is fully equipped with advanced automation technologies including AGVs, intelligent 3D warehouses, and automated packaging lines. Backed by a complete industry chain that covers everything from design and component manufacturing to final assembly, the facility plays a central role in the world’s largest smart security technology industrial park, alongside Philips’ other production bases in Zhuhai and Zhongshan. This high-efficiency, high-standard manufacturing hub further cements Philips’ position as a global leader in smart home security, delivering secure, connected, and innovative smart lock solutions to families around the world.
